Perhaps Frank Sinatra and Sinead O’Connor — who feuded publicly last year over the Irish rocker’s refusal to have ”The Star-Spangled Banner” played before her concert in New Jersey — have more in common than they think. Take their taste: Ol’ Blue Eyes and Ol’ Baldy have each chosen to record ”Silent Night” this season; his version will benefit a children’s hospital in San Diego, hers is a single for Chrysalis Records. Mixing the two versions is sure to give radio stations a few holiday jollies.
