In this standard peewee-sports flick, outcast kids form their own football team to compete with the one that rejected them. The movie fumbles when it sends contrived messages about sexism and sibling rivalry (Rick Moranis and Ed O’Neill are on the roster as brothers who coach the opposing teams) while making the genre’s usual bodily-function jokes. It scores when some NFL all-stars give the team a private lesson, but basically Little Giants is, as one character puts it, ”just air and pig intestines.” Pass. C-
