Dangerous Minds

Genre: R&B, Soundtracks, Hip-Hop/Rap; Lead Performers: Coolio, Aaron Hall, Various Artists; Producer (group): MCA

After a strong start with Coolio’s neo-gothic morality tale, ”Gangsta’s Paradise,” the beats just keep getting better. There’s Aaron Hall’s sensual up-tempo ballad ”Curiosity” and Craig Mack’s charmingly crusty cameo on Sista’s ”It’s Alright.” Considering that the film utterly lacks street cred, the soundtrack is surprisingly legit.
