Something between a documentary and an infomercial for the theme-park industry, America’s Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills in 3-D is a camera’s-eye view from the lead car of 14 of the country’s most famous coasters. Unfortunately, despite the 3-D gimmick (four pairs of glasses are included), after 20 minutes you realize you’re still on the couch. And the annoying hosts — L.A. television personalities Eric Boardman and Lisa Williams — exude so much fake show-biz sincerity, you may find yourself hoping for a crash that, alas, never comes.
