In this racy tale, Sohn — who writes the ”Female Trouble” column for the New York Press — doesn’t stray too far from her area of expertise as she chronicles the adventures of a winsome 22-year-old sex columnist. When she’s not pacifying her publicity-shy boyfriends or fending off middle-aged creeps, Ariel Steiner hopes like mad that her parents don’t pick up the paper and read about her latest carnal exploits. Sohn has a deft hand with dialogue; many of Ariel’s lines are laugh-out-loud funny. But if it’s plot you want, watch Sex and the City Run Catch Kiss is a frivolous read that’s far more titillating than scintillating. C
