Love, God, Murder is a collection selected by Cash himself, from his 44 years behind the mike. All three discs (also available separately) are a delight, and the thematic organization is a great idea. The 16-song Murder, for instance, shows how strongly violence runs in Big John’s veins. But the CD booklets, with ”essays” by Quentin Tarantino and Bono, are in bad faith. As if this Rushmore needed their sponsorship. All three discs: A
