THE CHARTS

FRANKLIN COMES ALIVE

It here’s a spiritually minded act in the top five this week–and, for the first time in over three months, it isn’t Creed. While Weathered dropped four spots to No. 6, R&B-gospel crooner Kirk Franklin returned from a three-year recording hiatus with the live Rebirth of Kirk Franklin, which found its way into the hearts and homes of 91,000 believers and debuted at a miraculous No. 4. In more earthly realms, J. Lo must be up to her L. Bos in cash, as her remix set sold another 101,000 copies to retake the top spot, and Britney bounded back into the top 10 on the wheels of her road-trip saga, Crossroads. Just imagine the boost she’ll get when her Oscar nominations roll in next year.
