The short life and tragic death of John F. Kennedy Jr. will be reenacted in a new TBS biopic, ”America’s Prince: The JFK Jr. Story,” which will air in December or January, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Two parts have already been cast: Portia de Rossi (”Ally McBeal”) will play Kennedy’s late wife, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and veteran film actress Jacqueline Bisset (”The Deep”) will portray Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

The telepic, to be based on the book ”The Day John Died,” is the second JFK Jr. film to be announced, but it will air sooner than a planned project at CBS, which will be spun off from the recent tell-all bio ”American Son,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. A script is ready for ”America’s Prince,” and the show is in preproduction. Our question: Will Daryl Hannah play herself?
