On NBC’s ”Ed,” Ed Stevens is a lawyer who runs a bowling alley in small town Stuckeyville, while best friend Mike Burton is a doctor. In real life, however, it’s the actor playing Mike who’s accused of rolling into the gutter. According to published reports, New York police arrested Josh Randall Wednesday night night after witnessing him allegedly smoking crack with a homeless man near the Brooklyn waterfront.

According to the New York Daily News, undercover narcotics officers say they spotted Manhattan resident Randall, 30, smoking crack on a corner near the Brooklyn Navy Yard around 8:30 Wednesday night. They arrested him and Charles Foster, a 40-year-old homeless man, and charged them both with criminal possession of a controlled substance. At press time, both men were still being held pending arraignment.
