In a match between Denzel Washington and Guy Pearce, who would emerge victorious–the Oscar winner or the Aussie? Washington’s hospital-trauma drama John Q. continued its heart-stopping reign as the No. 1 video rental, beating out the VHS and DVD debuts of Crossroads and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. But DVD viewers made Time for Pearce’s sci-fi odyssey: His tale of a grieving time traveler was the week’s top-selling disc. Gentlemen, let’s call it a draw.
