If you were a kid, how would you like Carmen Electra to be your nanny? Would you consider yourself lucky, or would you worry that someone who once married Dennis Rodman might not have the best judgment when it comes to family matters? One family will find out, as Electra is poised to do babysitter duty on the pilot of a new NBC reality show called ”Celebrity Temps,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. The series, which will have stars doing real jobs for a day while ordinary folk get pampered like Hollywood royalty, hopes to launch with an episode that features Electra tending a brood of little kids while their folks go out for a lavish night on the town.

”I think people are fascinated by the lives of celebrities and can’t imagine them doing the regular things the rest of us have to do — like clip coupons or change diapers,” says Jessika Borsiczky of ”Temps” producer Pariah. ”This show gives the audiences the chance to see famous people in the throes of ordinary life. Carmen is someone who we usually get to see as beautiful and glamorous in her roles — it will be really fun to see her in this completely different setting.” At least she probably knows CPR, thanks to her time on ”Baywatch.” And if the kids get bored, she can take them to visit the set of her currently shooting movie, ”Starsky and Hutch,” in which she costars with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller.
