The MGM Grand arena in Las Vegas is pretty large, but can it handle this many egos? Or this much mousse? VH1 announced that its annual ”Divas” concert, which already has three of music’s top female stars on the bill, is adding four more. Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Beyoncé Knowles, and Lisa Marie Presley (can you be a diva after just one album?) are joining previously announced performers Jewel, Chaka Khan, and Mary J. Blige for the concert, which airs live on May 22. Queen Latifah will host.

The official title of the show is ”VH1 Divas Duets,” which suggests that we’ll see some interesting pairings. Jewel and Chaka Khan? Mary J. and Celine? Lisa Marie and anybody? Proceeds from the show go to benefit Save the Music, a charity foundation that donates instruments to public school music programs. VH1 says additional performers, presenters, and special guests will be announced as the airdate approaches. Like there’ll be room for anyone else.
