Do you watch arena football? Didn’t think so. But NBC thinks it’s figured out how to get you to tune in to Arena Football League games. This Sunday, during regional AFL contests, the network will air the two-and-a-half-minute trailer for ”The Matrix Reloaded.” Fans attending the games will also get to see the promo for the film, which opens May 15, on their Jumbotrons.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the deal to air the clip involved no exchange of money. NBC gets to have footage of Keanu Reeves and his costars to lure viewers, and Warner Bros. gets to expose the trailer to the young males who are the sequel’s target audience. Of course, if NBC really wanted to make people watch the whole game, the network wouldn’t have announced that the trailer will air at 3 p.m. EDT on April 13.
