The electroclash movement that ravaged hipster New York two years ago lost its steam faster than it gained acolytes. Oddly, it’s the scene’s founder and key proselytizer, Larry Tee, who inadvertently hammers the final nail into its coffin. This set of shallow, redundant synth-pop name-checks models, salivates over sex, and toasts frivolity with such talentless dispassion, it can’t even qualify as irony.
