”I’m in love,” Harrison Ford finally admits. The reticent star, whose ”Hollywood Homicide” opens Friday, and his girlfriend, Calista Flockhart, finally break their silence about their romance in the latest issue of People magazine.

Ford and Flockhart have been a couple since meeting at the Golden Globes in January 2002. (At the time, he had recently separated from his second wife, ”E.T.” screenwriter Melissa Mathison, after 18 years of marriage.) Flockhart tells People that the couple’s 22-year age difference ”doesn’t faze me.” The 60-year-old still seems young to her, perhaps in part because of his earring and his fondness for Eminem (”It’s the originality, the wordcraft, the storytelling,” he explains.) She says, ”I like the way he looks first thing in the morning. It’s not handsome. It’s more cute. He looks like a little boy. You know how when you wake up in the morning and you’re kind of puffy and rumpled and you look kind of vulnerable? That’s what he looks like.”

In fact, Flockhart may be the more self-conscious of the two. ”I watched ‘Ally McBeal’ from time to time before I met her,” Ford says, ”but now she won’t let me watch it. She doesn’t like to see herself.” Otherwise, the two say, all is domestic bliss in the Hollywood home where they live with Flockhart’s 2 1/2-year-old son, Liam. ”I’m good at changing diapers,” says Ford, who has four children of his own and two grandchildren. ”No sense letting that experience go to waste.”
