Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown hope to put their notoriety to good use in their first joint movie project, according to People. The pair is planning to make a movie called ”Beffy and Charlie” in which they’ll portray a talented pair of criminals. ”We’re going to be singing, robbing, stealing — a lot of things people might not want to see us do,” Brown told People, without specifiying a studio, screenwriter, or director for the project.

The former New Edition member has actually appeared in at least eight previous movies, including the upcoming ”Nora’s Hair Salon,” which co-stars Tatyana Ali. Houston, whose most famous film role was opposite Kevin Costner in 1992’s ”The Bodyguard,” hasn’t appeared in a movie since 1996’s ”The Preacher’s Wife.” As for ”Beffy and Charlie” — Brown told People it’ll be ”special.” Hey, with both robbing AND stealing involved, we wouldn’t expect anything less.
