The stage at Radio City Music Hall during MTV Video Music Awards may be as crowded as Times Square during an episode of ”TRL.” The network continues to add to the Aug. 28 gala’s list of scheduled performers and presenters, with the latest round of names announced Wednesday. Added to the bill of performers is Mary J. Blige, will the roster of award presenters now includes personalities as varied as Pamela Anderson, Nelly, Avril Lavigne, and Jason Biggs.
Blige will hit the stage two days after her ”Love & Life” album hits stores. She may also return to the stage as a trophy winner for ”Come Close,” her nominated collaboration with Common. She joins a bill that includes previously announced performers 50 Cent, Christina Aguilera, Coldplay, and Good Charlotte.
Newly announced presenters are Anderson, Nelly, Lavigne, Biggs, DMX, Jimmy Fallon, Drew Barrymore, Ben Stiller, Dave Navarro, Pharrell, Lil Jon, and Duran Duran. Presenters previously named include P. Diddy, Ashanti, Kelly Clarkson, Redman, Evanescence, Hilary Duff, Ludacris, Tony Hawk, Bam Margera, David Spade, Snoop Dogg, the Olsen Twins, and LeBron James. Hosting the ceremony, if he can find room on stage, will be Chris Rock.
