See if ”Race to the Altar” is a winner or a loser

VIEWERS 4.6 million

WHAT HAPPENED Eight couples competed for a free wedding, enduring cutely named physical challenges like ”Leap of Faith.”

WHY IT BOMBED It’s not like ”The Bachelor,” where the fate of the relationships is at stake, or ”American Idol,” where people’s dreams are on the line, or even ”Paradise Hotel,” where hot people have a lot of sex. We now pronounce this boring and pointless.

LASTING CONTRIBUTION TO THE GENRE Happy couples make bad TV.
