TELEVISION Charlie’s Angels is back at full throttle! ABC — home of the original Farrah Fawcett vehicle — just closed a deal to remake the ’70s hit for prime time, with the idea that the show will launch a new, improved series of movies starring the three yet-to-be-cast angels. Exec producers Carlton Cuse (Nash Bridges) and John Wirth (The District) are developing the show for mid-season next year…. Matt Groening, James L. Brooks, and Co. have been amping up talks to make a Simpsons feature film. But cool your jets, Bart fans: The long-in-the-works project still has no script or release date. They’re taking their time because it’s gonna be quality! ”We don’t rush anything just to make a buck,” says a spokeswoman.

MOVIES Who’s seen Truck Turner, the 1974 blaxploitation classic with Isaac Hayes as a bounty hunter who becomes the hunted after he bumps off the wrong bad guy? Well, Queen Latifah is all set to do a remake! She’ll produce and maybe even star…. Liam Neeson has answered Warner Bros.’ bat signal. He’s negotiating to appear in the upcoming Batman movie helmed by Memento director Christopher Nolan, opposite Christian Bale, Michael Caine, and Katie Holmes…. America’s sweetheart Diane Keaton is attached to star in Surrender, Dorothy, an adaptation of Meg Wolitzer’s 1999 novel about a grieving mom who starts hanging out with her dead daughter’s friends.
