MOVIES Are you there, Judy Blume? It’s me, the Deal Report! We rang the Superfudge author to talk about her new multimovie deal with Disney, which will bring her young-adult classics to the screen. First up is Deenie, the 1973 novel that the Deal Report remembers as containing some, well, adult subject matter. ”We call that puberty, not ‘adult subject matter,”’ laughs Blume. Deenie — let’s not mince words here — features masturbation, ”and no,” Blume insists, ”we’re not gonna show it in the movie!”…. Along comes another movie for Jennifer Aniston, who’s a go for Columbia Pictures’ Diary, about a woman whose journal is swiped by someone who turns the private scribblings against her…. Hmmm, should we mention the new Charlize Theron deal? As the Deal Report’s boss just pointed out, ”She won a friggin’ Oscar!” So look out for Theron in Class Action, from director Niki Caro (Whale Rider). She’ll play the Minnesota coal miner who filed the U.S.’ first successful class-action sexual harassment suit.

TELEVISION Menewdo! The bigwigs who own the name ”Menudo,” as in the all-kid ’80s singing group that launched Ricky Martin, are kicking off a contest to find dudes ages 10 — 14 who can sing in English and Spanish. Finalists will compete on TV. Caliente!

VIDEOGAMES Make us a game we can’t refuse! Electronic Arts is planning a game based on — daah-dah-dah-dah, da-da-daah — The Godfather!
