Martha Stewart won’t get a new trial, a federal judge ruled today, claiming that alleged lies by a juror were not enough to justify scrapping Stewart’s guilty verdict. U.S. District Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum said it was ”extremely unfortunate” that a juror may not have disclosed an assault arrest, but added that it was not enough to justify scrapping Stewart’s guilty verdicts and starting over, according to Reuters.

Stewart was found guilty of trying to cover up alleged insider trading, and convicted of conspiracy, making false statements, and obstructing agency proceedings. She is set to be sentenced June 17, and legal experts say that she is likely to be imprisoned, according to Reuters.
