Anthony Anderson (”Barbershop”), 33, was charged with aggravated rape July 28 while filming ”Hustle & Flow.” Memphis police say he was arrested after a passerby heard screams coming from a trailer. He has been released on $20,000 bond. ”We are confident that he will be completely exonerated,” said Anderson’s reps…. Kimora Lee Simmons, 29, designer and wife of rap mogul Russell Simmons, was arrested July 25 in Saddle River, N.J., for alleged erratic driving and marijuana possession. Simmons’ lawyer denied ”any wrongdoing whatsoever.”
Pixar and Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs, 49, underwent surgery July 31 to remove a cancerous tumor from his pancreas. Jobs e-mailed from his hospital bed (put the computer down, Steve) that he will not require any chemotherapy and he plans to return to work in September.
