How should 'West Wing' wind down?

91433__bradley_l_1

91433__bradley_l_1As The West Wing wends its way toward its final five episodes this spring, several alumni are returning to pay their last respects. Even Rob Lowe is coming back, as are eight others, including Mary-Louise Parker, Anna Deveare Smith, Emily Procter, Marlee Matlin, Tim Matheson, and Timothy Busfield.

Word of their return coincides with the news that Busfield and Wing regular Bradley Whitford (pictured) have been cast in Wing creator Aaron Sorkin’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, his drama pilot for NBC that’s set behind the scenes on a Saturday Night Live-like comedy show.

Tell us, Wing fans, how should the final episodes play out? Should Lowe’s Sam Seaborn become the new running mate of Matt Santos (Jimmy Smits), replacing the late Leo McGarry (John Spencer)? What should happen to everyone else? And who should win the election, Santos or Arnold Vinick (Alan Alda)?
