As you know, on SNL, one day you’re in, and the next day, you’re out. After the cast spent the summer waiting for the layoff ax to fall, NBC made it official today. Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Bill Hader, Darrell Hammond, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis, Kenan Thompson, and Kristen Wiig, you’re all in. You can leave the runway.

That means Chris Parnell, Finesse Mitchell, and Horatio Sanz (pictured, imitating Gene Shalit), you’re out. Auf wiedersehen. Now go up to the workroom, and clean up your stations.

Oh, and Horatio, we know you told the Chicago Sun-Times that you weren’t getting booted from the show, but I’m afraid you were mistaken. Alas, poor Horatio; I can just imagine you right now, in your “Carol” dress, singing “I Am Telling You I Am Not Going,” and cracking yourself up.
