If I had eMusic's 100 millionth download...

…I’d be rich! In a way.

eMusic is sort of like pork. Lurking in the shadows of everyone’s favorite white meat, iTunes, it can be considered “the other online music store.” And it’s reached a milestone! To help celebrate its 100 millionth sale, eMusic has commissioned Barenaked Ladies to write a song about the person who makes that very special download. This is pretty cool, if you’re a BNL fan. If you’re not, what do you say? “Pass?”

Then again, who am I kidding? I’d take a song about myself from just about anyone. The only exception I can think of is the Pussycat Dolls, and that’s just because I have yet to fully accept their existence. The song could be about my unique chewing habits (swish food with beverage, then swallow), my embarrassing obsession with Stickies, or my imminent slaughter by a Pussycat Doll, and I’d still make everyone listen to it constantly.

Would you want BNL (or anyone) to write a song just for you? What would it be about?
