‘Ocean’s’ and Swells
Great job, EW, on the interview with George Clooney and Brad Pitt by Daniel Fierman (”Fun With George and Brad”). Thank you for not going ”tabloid” concerning these stars, something other media outlets consistently do.
You asked Kyra Sedgwick about plastic surgery and Botox (Spotlight). I read the interview with George Clooney and Brad Pitt twice. Aren’t those dudes over 40? Why didn’t you ask them?
Congratulations on having the courage to put Brad Pitt and George Clooney on your cover [instead of] Bob Barker. You recognize that 50 years on TV pales in comparison with producing a second sequel to a remake.

Your list of the top 10 Sopranos episodes was good (”Dead End”), but you missed the most shocking one ever: season 3’s ”University.” Ralphie beating that poor Tracee to death had to be one of the most disturbing sequences of the show’s entire run.

I thoroughly enjoyed Ken Tucker’s take on The Sopranos. Yeah, the series was sneaky, low-down, and ultimately great. I’m sad but relieved that I don’t have to suffer Tony’s conflicts on a weekly basis.

Thanks for the brief history of The Price Is Right (”The ‘Right’ Stuff”). But not one mention of Rod Roddy? My eyes are blinded by the omission — and from years of viewing his sequined suits!

Justin who? Amanda Rosenblatt of Attleboro, Mass., is ”LoveStoned” for ‘N Sync’s Chris Kirkpatrick. Her prized possessions? ”An authographed hat, a sweaty towel, and a tattoo of Chip Skylark, the character Chris did voice-over work for [on Nickelodeon’s The Fairly OddParents].” Amanda says her late grandma was also a Kirkpatrick devotee and would’ve laughed ”seeing my goofy self inside EW.”
