It’s been a busy day in the agency business. ICM confirmed this afternoon that Oscar-nominated screenwriter Peter Morgan has left the house that Jeff Berg built. The man behind last year’s highbrow Oscar nominees, The Queen and Last King of Scotland, has joined up with UTA. Morgan has been on a hot streak lately. Sony will release his next project, The Other Boleyn Girl, at the end of February, and Ron Howard is currently in production on Frost/Nixon, which Morgan adapted from his own successful Broadway play.

But don’t worry, ICM is not completely bereft. The agency just acquired Robert Duvall as a client. The veteran actor/director, who recently won an Emmy for his role in AMC’s Broken Trail, had been without representation for some time.
