The Television Critics Association seems ready to cancel the winter press tour, according to the Hollywood Reporter, if the Writers Guild of America strike is not resolved by Dec. 13. Originally, the TCA planned on an abbreviated tour featuring PBS and cable networks. But on Friday (Nov. 30), TCA president Dave Walker said that PBS, MTV, and possibly other cable nets had changed their minds about participating during a writers’ strike. Given the time required to organize the event, which is scheduled to begin on Jan. 8, the TCA is expected to make a final decision by Dec. 13. (Hollywood Reporter)
