CBS greenlights three pilots

(FROM VARIETY) ? CBS picked up three drama pilots on Wednesday (Feb. 27): NY-LON, Mythological X, and Can Openers. NY-LON, from ABC Studios and writers Patti Carr and Lara Runnels, is about a man and a woman who attempt a long-distance romance between New York and London. The pilot is based on a U.K. series starring Rashida Jones that aired in 2004. Mythological X, from 20thCentury Fox TV and writer Diane Ruggiero, is about a woman who learns from a psychic that she has already dated the man she will marry. She then starts a search through her past relationships to try and figure out which one he is. Can Openers, from Sony Pictures TV and writer Elle Johnson, is about a 20-something woman who finds a competitive, clubby environment after starting a seven-year neurosurgical residency. (Variety)
