Alleged Jimi Hendrix sex tape being released

(FROM THE NEW YORK TIMES) - Vivid Entertainment is set to release a tape it claims shows Jimi Hendrix, who died in 1970, having sex with two women. The video, which has no audio, reportedly shows a man who looks like Hendrix having sex with two brunettes in a dimly-lit bedroom. His face only appears on screen for only a few seconds, with other portions showing flashes of his profile. His hands, covered in rings, are shown often, however. Vivid has culled together a 45-minute DVD, called Jimi Hendrix the Sex Tape, that combines 11 minutes of sex footage with a retrospective of Hendrix’s career that it will sell for $39.95 in stores, over the Internet, and as a digital download. Vivid has previously released tapes of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, Kim Kardashian, and others. The identity of the man in the film has been the subject of dispute for years among Hendrix experts. Vivid says it hired private detective agencies that verified that it is indeed the guitar legend having sex. (New York Times)
