(FROM VARIETY) ? A&E Networks expanding its original programming with the announcement of four new, original Biography Channel series and the renewal of two other A&E original shows. William Shatner will discuss sensitive subjects with celebrity guests on Shatner’s Raw Nerve, which premieres on Bio Channel Aug. 19. Guests include Jon Voight, Jimmy Kimmel, Jenna Jameson, Leonard Nimoy, Kelsey Grammer, and Valerie Bertinelli. The Chris Isaak Hour will feature live performances and interviews with mainstream music artists. Female Forces features Cops-style ride-alongs with policewomen on the force of suburban Chicago’s Naperville Police Dept. Why I Ran includes interviews with people who started high-speed police chases and lived to tell about it. The A&E Television Networks Channel also announced the renewal of I Survived and Biography, and the first live episode of Criss Angel Mindfreak, which will feature the daredevil host attempting to escape a collapsing six-story building. The live broadcast will air July 30. Season 4 of Mindfreak debuts July 23. (Variety)
