HarperCollins announced today that it plans to shut down its Collins imprint, which produced many of the publisher’s nonfiction titles. Casulaties of the move? Collins president Steve Ross and William Morrow publisher Lisa Gallagher, who will both leave the company. According the the publisher, Harper will absorb all of Collins non-fiction titles, while the former imprint’s paperbacks will fold into Harper Perennial and Harper paperbacks.
