Alec Baldwin's 'final' Conan O'Brien appearance: RIP, Generalissimo

With only seven episodes remaining before Conan moves to a new city (sigh) and a new time slot, guests are not wasting a precious moment. The endlessly funny Alec Baldwin made a memorable appearance with trailblazing late night host “Colin O’Ryan” Thursday evening. Even with a slight at Conan’s move (“You’re going to live in L.A.? You idiot”) and a hotel hooker story, Baldwin is ridiculously endearing (although, next to Joaquin Phoenix, every late-night guest seems downright saintly this week.) See part 1 of his interview here:

Part 2 of the interview (embedded after the jump) was even better with a heartfelt shout-out to ex-wife Kim Basinger’s Oscar win (now that’s how you bounce back from an embarrassing public tape, Christian Bale) and makes late-night history by being the first guest “killed off” none other than by The Sopranos Tony Sirico. What did you think of the interview PopWatchers?  Are you watching every Conan episode before the big move? I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to watch him host SNL this weekend. Would you, like me, watch Alec Baldwin’s Love Bus in a heartbeat?
