Who loves Canadian collectives and rock docs in equal measure? Pitchfork, that’s who. For the next seven days, visitors to the site can stream the new Arcade Fire documentary Miroir Noir (my extensive schooling tells me that’s francais for “Black Mirror”) on Pitchfork.tv.

The 70-minute movie, directed by Arcade Fire and Vincent Morisset and shot by Parisian video auteur Vincent Moon, includes a glimpse inside the studio during the band’s recording of 2007’s Neon Bible, plus live footage from the ensuant tour.

But speaking of indie-rock celluloid kicks, there’s also the upcoming short film My Friends Told Me About You, from Interpol’s Carlos Dengler; watch the very “I went to art school” trailer here, and tell me what you think, readers — good stuff, or just interpoo?
