Big girls don’t cry…especially on their birthday: Mrs. Josh Duhamel, Fergie, rang in her 34th on March 27 in Miami.

EXPECTING
Private Practice star Taye Diggs, 38, and wife Idina Menzel (Enchanted), 37, will have their first child together.

BIRTHS
Alyson Hannigan has met her daughter: On March 24, the actress celebrated her 35th birthday and greeted Satyana, her first child with husband Alexis Denisof, 43, in Los Angeles…. Actor Tim Allen, 55, and his wife, Jane, welcomed daughter Elizabeth, their first child together, on March 28 in L.A.

SPLITS
LuAnn de Lesseps, 43, star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City, confirmed on March 31 that she and her husband, Count Alexandre de Lesseps, have separated…. CSI’s Marg Helgenberger, 50, filed for divorce from her husband of 19 years, SAG president Alan Rosenberg, 57, on March 24, citing irreconcilable differences.

FOR SALE
Candyland can be yours — for a price. Candy Spelling, 63, widow of TV giant Aaron Spelling, is selling the Holmby Hills, Calif., mansion that served as daughter Tori’s childhood home for $150 million. At more than 52,000 square feet, ”The Manor” is the largest residence in L.A. County.

ACCIDENT
Rapper T-Pain, 24, was involved in a golf cart accident on March 27 that resulted in minor injuries and the loss of four teeth. The star subsequently missed appearances on Lil Wayne’s tour, as well as the video shoot for Lil’ Kim’s ”Download.” He resumed performing March 29 in L.A.

AILING
Josh Hartnett, 30, was hospitalized on March 30 at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai with severe stomach pain. The actor was sidelined for a similar condition while performing in Rain Man in London’s West End in 2008. At press time, a rep for Hartnett would not comment on the status of his hospital stay.

COURTS
On March 27, T.I., 27, was sentenced to one year and one day on felony weapons charges. The rapper, who was arrested in 2007 while trying to buy illegal machine guns, received the reduced sentence in exchange for performing 1,000 hours of community service (footage of which he turned into MTV’s T.I.’s Road to Redemption). He is scheduled to report to an undisclosed federal prison May 19…. Robert O’Ryan, 34, was charged March 26 with stalking and carrying loaded guns after allegedly trying to get on the set of Dancing With the Stars to see contestant Shawn Johnson, 17. According to a request for a restraining order, O’Ryan also had duct tape and items ”classically used for kidnapping” in his car when arrested in Hollywood. O’Ryan, who pleaded not guilty, remains behind bars and is scheduled to appear in court on April 27…. Survivor winner Richard Hatch, 47, is hoping the tribe hasn’t spoken. In a request filed March 24 in Providence, Hatch asked for early release from the four-year federal prison sentence he’s been serving since 2006 for tax evasion. The reality star claims he was represented by an ineffective lawyer and his sentence was calculated incorrectly…. Boudoir Queen designer Dawn Simorangkir sued Courtney Love, 44, on March 26 in L.A. for libel and breach of contract, claiming that Love failed to pay for clothing she had commissioned and made ”menacing” remarks about her via MySpace and Twitter (among them, calling Simorangkir a ”nasty lying hosebag thief”).

Madonna in Africa, and Lourdes in the Spotlight
Madonna’s recent trip to Malawi has been something to remember — and not just because the Material Girl filed an application to adopt a baby girl, three years after the controversial adoption of her son David, now 3. As soon as media outlets began posting footage of the newly single mom — traveling with children in tow — attention quickly shifted from Madonna to her stunning daughter, Lourdes. Blogs began buzzing about the 12-year-old, who has transformed from a quirky preteen to a poised style star in the making. The folks at the Today show, meanwhile, couldn’t stop talking about the new images: Hosts Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira singled out Lourdes for coming into her own during a March 30 story on Madonna’s adoption (”We both said the same thing — Lourdes has grown up,” noted Lauer), and the next day the morning show dedicated an entire segment just to her. All the attention is fitting, considering Madonna told Today in a previous interview that her daughter (with actor Carlos Leon) tends to ”walk into a room and demand that everyone pay attention to [her].” Soon, though, Lourdes may have a new family member to share in the spotlight: At press time, Madonna was scheduled to appear in Malawi’s High Court April 3 for a hearing regarding her adoption of a 3-year-old local orphan named Mercy James. (Says a rep for the singer, ”She is adhering to all required procedure.”) But have no fear, Lourdes: New baby sis aside, we have a feeling the public will continue to be crazy for you. — Kate Ward

Drew and Justin Reunite…On Screen
When news broke March 30 that Drew Barrymore and Justin Long will play long-distance lovers in New Line’s rom-com Going the Distance, it fueled tabloid rumors that the duo had also reignited their real-life relationship. The stars, who began dating in 2007 while shooting He’s Just Not That Into You, romanced each other publicly (see: one Oprah lovefest) before an equally visible breakup in July 2008. (As a result, Long exited Barrymore’s directorial debut, Whip It!) Reps will confirm only that the pair have ”reunited as friends” — which may, in fact, make it easier for their project to go the distance. — Christine Spines
