Ratings: Regis Philbin rules sleepy Sunday with 'Million Dollar Password'

CBS easily won the ratings race Sunday night, thanks mostly to the Regis Philbin-hosted Million Dollar Password (6.9 million) – though “race” is clearly overstating the case on a summer weekend night filled with repeats. But for those keeping track at home, a rerun of CBS’ Cold Case (7.6 million) trounced one of Desperate Housewives (2.7 million); same went for The Unit (5.7 million) over Brothers & Sisters (2.6 million).
