And you probably will. Yes, Newsweek! Stephen Colbert has been named first guest editor for the recently redesigned magazine in the title’s 76-year-history. Editor Jon Meacham was “just very impressed with the range of his knowledge” and “almost encyclopedic feel for anything that came up” after the two ate lunch together. (They were likely eating Doritos.)

Colbert promises to pepper the “conventional wisdom” of his ultra-conservative Comedy Central character throughout the June 15 issue, but insists much of the content will be treated with the utmost seriousness. I’ll be looking for lengthy character studies of his animal namesakes, along with — to be fair and balanced — some original Report-ing on why the party responsible for the economic crisis is actually BEARS. What would you want to read in the issue?
