Morgan Spurlock, director of the 2004 movie Super-Size Me, is teaming up with Dark Horse for a graphic novel companion titled Supersized: Strange Tales From a Fast Food Culture, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The novel will reportedly attempt to make a point about health and nutrition through a series of bizarre stories about America’s obsession with fast food, written by Spurlock with a mix of established and up-and-coming artists scripting and drawing the book. A clown character called MC Super-Size Me will serve as a guide through the stories, similar to the Crypt Keeper in EC Comics’ Tales From the Crypt.
