NBC’s decision to air Law & Order: Criminal Intent episodes on Monday nights appears finally to be paying off. The series, which only reached 2.2 million viewers last week, jumped up this week to 5.4 million, according to preliminary overnight ratings. Over on ABC, a Sugarland special failed to impress with only 4.2 million fans while dating competition Dating in the Dark, no longer benefitting from The Bachelorette as a lead-in, dropped steeply from last week’s 6.4 million to 3.7 million.
