CBS’ annual airing of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was the evening’s top-rated program Wednesday, defeating NBC’s annual coverage of the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center by nearly two million viewers, according to overnight numbers. Fox’s Glee also lit up a bit leading into its fall finale, which airs next week. The show returns in April.
