Spokespeople for Fox and Time Warner Cable tell EW that they have extended the deadline for their ongoing contract negotiations for an indeterminate amount of time. TWC cable characterized it as a “short extension while negotiations continue,” while a Fox rep said “we’re giving it a bit more time.” Both companies declined to comment further on a firmer time frame, but networks underneath the News Corp. umbrella (including Fox News and FX) continue to air on the TWC system for the time being. Check back at EW.com for more updates on this ongoing story.
