The Wire‘s Pablo Schreiber will play a boxing manager in FX’s new drama Lights Out, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He’ll be a regular on the series, which follows the life of retired boxing great Patrick “Lights” Leary (Hold McCallany) as he struggles to support his family after being diagnosed with neurological disorder pugilistic dementia. Schreiber’s character is Leary’s brother and manager. He replaces Elias Koteas, who played the role in the original pilot. Lights Out has been picked up for a series order, but is being revamped, including a recasting of most of the major parts except for McCallany’s. Catherine McCormack and Stacy Keach also star.
