Netflix’s instant streaming library will soon be available through Nintendo Wiis, according to a joint statement released today from the two companies. Wii owners will need a special disc to access the library, and the popular console will not be able to stream HD content. The functionality is expected to roll out this spring. Instant Netflix is already available through Xbox 360, PS3, some TiVos, and several Internet-enabled televisions and Blu-ray players.
