Warning: geek worlds colliding! During tonight’s new episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (airing 9:00 p.m. on Cartoon Network), Iron Man director Jon Favreau will be voicing the leader of the Mandalorian warriors, Pre Vizsla. Favreau actually got the gig while finishing his post-production work on the first Iron Man. The filmmaker was collaborating with Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound at Lucasfilm’s Skywalker Ranch when he crossed paths with Clone Wars supervising director Dave Filoni. Favreau mentioned his interest in voicing a character, and faster than Han Solo’s Greedo-shooting blaster, the Iron Man filmmaker became a part of the Star Wars universe.

Below, check out EW.com’s exclusive behind-the-scene video of Favreau’s involvement with The Clone Wars:

PopWatchers, what do make of this mixing of sci-fi universes? And what character should George Lucas play in the inevitable Iron Man 3?
