'Dancing With the Stars': Erin Andrews will boldly waltz it out, despite death threats

Despite learning over the weekend about death threats emailed to her (the FBI says the man sending the messages lives on the East Coast), ESPN correspondent Erin Andrews will dance the waltz with professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy in tonight’s Week 3 performance episode of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. ABC has heightened security surrounding the set. “I don’t quit on things,” Andrews said in a statement Sunday.

Is any press good press? In a nation’s sweeping effort to FREE TONY! following tonight’s ballroom dance inspired by Kate and Jon Gosselin’s icky marriage, will viewers throw a few more votes to Erin? Back in season 7, Shawn Johnson had an in-town stalker who actually trespassed onto the DWTS set, and she went on to win the season. So now all Andrews has to do is take a deep breath, close the computer, and become as good at ballroom dancing as a 17-year-old Olympic gymnast. Do it for Maks, Erin. Do it for my fake lover, Maks.
