NBC’s Parenthood aired perhaps my favorite four lighthearted moments of the series to date last night: First, Lauren Graham’s Sarah teased Monica Potter’s Kristina about her business attire (“from the David Byrne collection…. Cybill’s Shepherd’s lost jacket… it’s like an episode of Hoarders, when’s the last time you cleaned that closet?”) and asked “What’s the lace-to-base?” ratio of a Victoria’s Secret bra Haddie had bought while reading an Entertainment Weekly. So Lorelai Gilmore. Then Drew came over to ask his Uncle Adam (Peter Krause) how to dance. Has that ever happened off-screen — a teen asking an adult how to dance? But who cares! Adam, excuse me “Fever” as he was called in high school, cleared the living room immediately to show Drew some moves to Run-DMC’s “It’s Tricky.” (Was it wrong that I was hoping for “Boogie Shoes”?)

“You gotta shut this off, and turn this on,” he said. (Kristina’s turned on reaction when Adam did the worm was as priceless as Sarah telling Drew, “Did he tell you about the Fever? He did. Once you unleash the Fever, it doesn’t stop.”) Watch the scenes after the jump.
