Holy Manolo! 'Sex and the City' showrunner Michael Patrick King to 'Comeback' to television.

Get it? Oh, well, all you Valerie Cherish fans do. But good news first reported on Deadline: Sex and the City showrunner/The Comeback creator/current director of Sex and the City 2 Michael Patrick King will be returning to TV, as he’s working on a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Television. King’s rep confirms that the writer is setting up a production company, which will work on “overseeing and nurturing” creative forces on the TV side.

Of course, this means we can look forward to seeing plenty of fashionable, funny folks on TV, thanks to King’s clever pen and wit. We’ll just have to cross our fingers that they stick around longer than Cherish did.

Who else is pumped to see that King is returning to the small screen? What kind of show would you like to see him behind next?
