Ellen DeGeneres starts label, signs Greyson Chance

Greyson-ChanceImage Credit: Michael Rozman/AP ImagesEllen DeGeneres likes “Paparazzi” kid Greyson Chance so much that she’s started her own record label in order to sign him, People reports. “Greyson… inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven,” DeGeneres told the mag. “He is my first artist, and we are making a record together.”

It’s no surprise that Ellen is a big music fan. She’s made that clear for years on her talk show, and of course she recently took a permanent seat behind the judges’ table on American Idol. She’s also been instrumental in Chance’s meteoric rise to fame, booking the 12-year-old singer on her show after seeing his “Paparazzi” clip on YouTube. The rest is history.
