R.I.P. Marvin Isley

Caravan-Of-Love

Caravan-Of-LoveMarvin Isley, bassist for the Isley Brothers, passed away Sunday morning from undisclosed causes at the age of 56. Though his name is best associated with his Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame-inducted family band, Marvin scored one of his biggest R&B hits as a member of another family band, Isley-Jasper-Isley, thanks to 1985’s smooth, summery “Caravan of Love.” Enjoy that classic video (and its totally amazing cross-cultural vibes) after the jump, and leave your memories of Isley in the comments.
