'My Life on the D-List': Hot summer TV

Kathy Griffin's Bravo reality show will serve up more of the same in its new season -- which is a good thing!

Bravo, June 15, 9 p.m.

Where we left off: Last summer, the celeb-skewering comedian pimped herself out for (more) Emmys and Grammys, canvassed for gay rights, and asked numerous stars — from Rosie O’Donnell to Betty White — how she could raise her profile in Hollywood.

What’s next: More of the same! Griffin keeps things gay, with an acting lesson from Liza Minnelli and a campaign against Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. She also visits celebs like Kristin Chenoweth and Lauren Conrad, torments the set of Law & Order: SVU during a guest spot, remodels her home, and gets a pap smear in public (we’re not kidding). ”I embarrassed my mother once again, but I was proud of my public pap smear in a bikini poolside,” Griffin says. ”You’re not going to see that s— on f—ing Intervention, which robbed me of the Emmy last year. Those f—ers! Those goddamn crackheads. You’re not going to see them in stirrups — just me, baby.”
